PLEASE PRAY IN SILENCE FOR THE CESATION OF VIOLENCE AND THE HEALING OF ALL INDIGINOUS COMMUNITIES AFFECTED BY VIOLENCE, ADDICTION, SUICIDE AND INTERGENERATIONAL TRAUMA      

Let us Pray: We ask for God’s love to surround and comfort those who grieve the death of a family member or loved one.  We pray for God’s hope and courage for those who have suffered harm, and that their physical wounds heal quickly. We ask for God’s peace to those who have been traumatised by this event, and that the community can come together in peace as they journey through this tragedy. God calls us to turn our swords into ploughshares, and our spears into pruning hooks. God, help us to replace violence with peace, replace grief with consolation, and comfort all fears with your perfect love. Bring reconciliation to our hearts and lives. Through the love and grace of Christ Jesus. Amen
